April, 2012:

Suzanne's story, "The Needle's Eye" is nominated for an Aurora Award in the Short Fiction category.

March, 2012:

Suzanne's story "Muffy and the Belfry" was shortlisted in the Friends of the Merill Short Story Contest.
Though the story did not make the top three finalists, making the top nine was still a thrill!

January, 2012:

Suzanne has begun weekly posts on writing, for writers at the blog for her writers' group, "The Stopwatch Gang."

November, 2011:

Suzanne's short story "Destiny Lives in the Tattoo's Needle" did not win the Aurora Award. Her story came in second, losing by only 5 votes. And it is most definitely an honour being nominated.

For the fifth time, Suzanne spent the month of November as a part of NaNoWriMo, writing over 50,000 words on a new, adult version of the novel, "The Magic Storm." Here's the quick blurb: When an angel dies in front of Anita, she begins to change from the magic that is restructuring the spiritual realities of Earth. To experience the nitty, gritty details one day at a time, Read her LJ NaNoWriMo posts.

Suzanne sold "Death Over Easy" to Danse Macabre, edited by Nancy Kilpatrick. Watch for the upcoming release from Edge Science Fiction & Fantasy Publishing.

September, 2011:

Suzanne worked hard as a reporter for the Daily Dragon at Dragon*Con. Read her articles, including an interview with artist Michael Whelan co-written by Debbie Yutko at The Daily Dragon Online.

May, 2011:

Suzanne's short story "Destiny Lives in the Tattoo's Needle" is a finalist for the Aurora Award!

Suzanne pitched her work-in-progress novel, "Flight" at World Horror Con.

March, 2011:

The Chilling Tales launch at Bakka-Phoenix books was a huge success. Watch for two other launches in April at Ad Astra (in Toronto) and World Horror Con (in Austin). Check the Appearances page for more information.

January, 2011:
